Our perspective

A secure attachment in our children has long-lasting positive effects on confidence, friendships, close relationships, behaviour, learning and competence, stress management and general happiness.
Our own experience of being parented affects how we parent, often in ways that we are not aware of; yet becoming aware of our strengths and struggles as a parent can help us make choices that will support security in the relationship with our children.

Circle of Security Parenting® provides a clear and simple map that crystallises decades of research. It is not about managing child behaviours with behaviour management techniques which are easily forgotten in the heat of the moment.

Our Work

At Connect Parenting we work with parents, grandparents and caregivers. We take a supportive and non-judgemental approach to learning how to see your relationship with child, positively and differently and our focus is towards developing secure relationships between you.

The Circle of Security Parenting programme with Connect Parenting is an experiential approach to learning how to read the manual you already have and to understand more about your responses, your child and how changes in this learning can help.

Parents have said that their eyes have been opened”

We work online or in person; one-on-one, with couples, or in a group.
